Grumpy pants!

Syniah woke up at 8am grumpy so she and went back to sleep at 9:30-1:00! Oh my goodness................. I actually got to sit and watch tv, while eating a turkey sandwich IN PEACE! Now she is awake and she is watching Dora. She is still a little grumpy! I don't know what her deal is but i think it's just one of those days for her. Maybe a cool bath will do the trick. It's so hott! 107 today! We are waiting for Dada and maybe we can get out and do something fun and cool.

This weekend Ervin and I went to Santa Barbara to Jill's wedding (my college roommate). Niah stayed with NaNa (her absolute favorite person in the world). Niah has been sick with a virus and I was worried about leaving her but when I went to drop her off she couldn't wait to get out of the car to see "NANA." She tries to take off her car-seat buckle the minute I turn onto my mom's street. Shhhh..... makes me a little jealous :) I try to explain to her that she will stay with Nana and Mama will pick her up soon, to help ease any anxiety she may have. The truth is, I am the only one with the anxiety and she could care less that if I am around. The minute she saw my mom she wrapped her arms around her Nana's neck and smiled really big. I wanted Niah to be sad that I was dropping her off, but she was so excited to be in my Mom's arms that she waved and said "bye bye Mama" and blew a kiss. I was happy she was with my mom but sad cause I would miss her and to top it off, I knew she won't miss me :)

I called my mom one time to check on Niah and My mom called me once as well. When I talked to her, Niah was playing with her cousins Brayleen and J.J. and was stealing Baby Jacob's pacifier. I know she was in good hands so I didn't bother to call so much. Ervin and I were having much needed time together. Most of our conversations led to the subject of Syniah. It was our 3rd time leaving Niah for leisure since the day she was born so for us leaving her for anything besides going to work is a big deal.

We got back Sunday morning and my mom brought Niah home a little after. I missed my baby girl. When she saw me she said "MAMA" in her cutest little voice and hugged me tight. I can't get enough of my daughters hugs. She is so lovable and absolutely amazing. Throughout the day she hugged me a lot. We watched t.v. and just rested. I sometimes wonder why I don't leave her more often for leisure and to hangout with friends but when she hugs me I know exactly why, because she is MY daughter and there is no other place I rather be. :) Even though she does drive me crazy sometimes :)

Sick baby

My Niah is sick with a throat an mouth infection............. Lets see how well we all sleep tonight. 

WEEKEND.............

This weekend Niah and I just hungout and watched a lot of Sesame Street and Mickey Mouse Club House. I really love my little girl! She is getting so big but as days pass by she gets more and more lovable! She has so much love. She gives me a million kisses throughout the day and hugs me just as much. It wasn't the most exciting weekend but getting hugs and kisses from Niah and being able to spend time with her beats a vacation or outing (even though that would be fun). I love my cuddle-bug. She is 16 months now! My baby is growing up!
