Little Monster

Today Niah was a handful. She was testing me all day. She wad saying No......randomly hitting me.....and even attempted to bite me on my head, but at the same time was so needy of my attention. Climbing on my leg and whinning for me. I think today she was just trying to get my attention but acting out in order to get it. I will be honest.... while trying to be firm I laughed a few times cause she can be so funny and cute while being bad! I have to remember not to do that because she feeds off that. I love my crazy little girl! Niah and Leilah definitely challenged me today.....Just a day in the life of being a Mama of a terrible 2. Love my little Monster!

Not much of a sleeper....

Today Leilah was not much of a sleeper. She was such a cat-napper. A little frustrating but there was a moment where she was taking one of her many naps and I just stared at her, she is so beautiful. She really is a challenge. She is more needy than I was prepared for but that's why I love her that much more. She needs me. She choose me to be her Mama. Looking at her beauty reminded me of how much more patience I need to have with my Leilah-bug. She is my baby and she definitely doesn't let me forget that. I love her so much. She is my sleeping beauty: )

It is Summertime

Niah wore her bikini and was such a brave girl in the water today. It was so nice to get her out and enjoy the sun. Cousin Brayleen came over also and went swimmimg so it was extra special.

Leilah's first dip in the pool today. She was so calm and relaxed. I even got a few smiles out of her. She didn't cry like I expected her to. She just enjoyed the water and looked at her crazy big sister splashing around. She is such an easy going baby. She loves to be held, fed and changed but if that is done she is pretty calm and quiet. Today was a good day. Did I mention after the pool Leilah took a 3 hour nap! Such a good baby girl :-)
