Happy Easter 2013

Easter Morning

This Easter we were indoors. With a very very sick Syniah Grace. You can totally see it in her eyes can't you? That didn't stop the Easter bunny from coming. The bunny knew exactly what these girls wanted. Always makes me so happy to see these girls so excited.

Sleeping girls

Watching these two sleep never gets old. They drive me crazy. They don't listen 80% of the time but I love how peaceful they are when they sleep. :)

One proud Mama

I love this girl. I have loved her since before she was even born. My whole life I dreamed of one day having a little girl and I got her. She has exceeded all my expectations for a Daughter.  She has such a big heart, seeks God, and loves people. She tries really hard to make us proud. I know that she is only 4. I know that she will make us proud a billion times but today was my proud moment. The moment my Daughter walked onto the field that I played on as a little girl with a huge smile on her face, knowing that she was making me proud was definitely a moment I will never forget.

Syniah has no clue how to play softball. She puts her glove on the wrong hand. Holds the bat the wrong way. Stops on the base when she suppose to be running over them all. I am not proud of her because she is my trophy child and I see lots of awards in her future (I don't doubt that though) but I am proud of her for her effort and her desire to be good at everything she does. To make us proud. She kept telling all the girls,"My mama played here when she was a little girl." It really is so special to her. I can't wait to see who she becomes and what she will really be good at, but for now I am amazed by who she is.

She is not batting the wrong way.. the girls were told to hit towards the fence because the rest of the team were doing other drills and they didn't want any kids to get conked on the head. Once she got a hang of swinging the bat she did great!

Softball girl

I was proud of my kid when she played soccer but Softball is my heart. My girl is now a softball player and is about to play on the fields her Mama once did. So excited I got my softball girl.
