I have never been into politics. Just like religion, people get so crazy involved in it that they forget what they even believe and focus more on trying to prove people wrong and making a statement. I am proud of being an American and I am proud of being a Christian but I hate politics and religion. Sounds hypocritical right? Well it is what it is!
I talk to my girls about everything. I like to inform them about what is going on in the world. I always make our conversation age appropriate but I am a pretty straight forward parent. We talk about the good and bad people in the world. We talk about life and we talk about death. We talk about love and we talk about hate. Lately we have been talking about Obama and Romney. I never press my opinion on my children. I feel as though I will set a foundation for them. I will guide them but at the end of the day their opinion is there opinion. They obviously don't have a preference (they are 2 and 4 years old). We talked about both candidates. We prayed for the election. Praying that God's Will be done.
Syniah's school prayed for the election during chapel. I am so thankful for Water of Life.
Today President Barack Obama Won! He will lead us in another 4 years. We will continue praying for God's guidance through these next 4 years.

I can't wait to take a picture of her during his inauguration again. I don't press a certain candidate on my child but I do like to capture history.
Despite the craziness of election day
This little girl was my #1 choice!
Syniah for President!
At least Class President!
Can't wait for that day!
Hope she wants to take after her Mama!
Happy Election Day Everybody!
