Night off

Tonight Dada took his girls to Disneyland. The very first time just him and two girls. I really needed a night off. I was a little jealous of the fun that they had but enjoyed the peace and quiet. I am thankful that the girls have a Dada who is so involved. Most Moms wouldn't even take on the task of taking two kids to Disneyland alone. The girls had a blast. Thank you Dada!

September 11

11 years ago I was sleeping in my dorm room only to wake up to the worst news....Our Country had been attacked. So many amazing brave men and women lost their life that day and I am thankful for the men and women in uniform who continue to fight for our freedom. 11 years later and I am a Mom of two little girls, I can only pray that my Daughter's grow up to be humbled by the stories of 9/11. Syniah knows the story and wore her stripes proud today. It's a day I will never forget. I am proud to be an American.

I absolutely love my mornings with Syniah. I love our talks on the way to school. I love how she hugs me before I leave her. I am so blessed with this sweet kid.
