The Lake

Such a fun day with family and friends. I really left the lake today thankful for the relationships we have in our life. It was a great day.

Evening with my girls.

I will never get use to working. I will never be okay with leaving my girls. I cherish my time home with them more than ever now. Today was rough at work. I kept holding back tears as I would think about how bad I wanted to be with my babies. God has a plan for me. Right now this is in his plan. I have to embrace it but it's hard. I will just cuddle these girls a little more tonight.

I miss them.

More today than Yesterday.

More tomorrow than Today.

I walked into the living room to catch them watching T.V. together. 

So sweet.

It's not always this sweet. There is a lot of fighting, hair pulling, and "I am not playing with you anymore" going on in our home. They have their moments. Niah has her moments but she is an overall amazing Big Sister. She is very protective of Leilah. If Leilah is in trouble, tired, or sad Niah is usually the first to embrace Leilah. It's very sweet to watch. I guess this evening Leilah was sleepy. I am so blessed that they have each other.

Leilah is always into something. If a crayon is in her hand, she is writing on the walls. If she has a princess dress on, she is spinning in circles. If she finds mascara in her Mom's purse, she puts it on! She was suppose to be in trouble for this considering the girls aren't allowed to touch things without asking. Let alone go through my purse, but who could resist this very proud little girl?  She looked at me and said "Mama, I look pretty." I took out my camera and the rest is history. I gave her a pass for being so cute.

HAPPY 29TH BIRTHDAY to one of the most Amazing Bestfriends I can ask for. It's not everyday u find a Bestfriend over 15 years ago who stands by you beyond your teenage years and ends up guiding u through life and motherhood. Your not only my Bestfriend but my sister. I thank u for being a great Nina and showing the girls so much love and devotion. Niah and Leilah adore you and your bond is something super special. We love u beyond words and hope this year brings you nothing but happiness and joy. Happy 29th Sugar

 We have  made the decision to put Niah in private school. We really Thank God for this opportunity. Pray that she follows God throughout her school days and her whole life long.

I can't believe it. 6 months till 3. 6 months of party planning. I know it sounds cliche but it really does seam as though I blinked and you are 2 1/2.  You have completed our family and I couldn't see life any other way. You have this personality that definitely keeps us and everyone around you on their toes. I love you for your uniqueness. You are the little girl in the princess dress, twirling in circles, with your eyes closed, Dreaming. You are very independent. You have grown up so much these past 6 months. It blows me away how much and how well you talk. You love princesses, puppies and high heels. Your Best Friends are Luke, Emily, Bella and Ava. You talk about them all the time and miss them when they aren't around. You don't like to be smothered, you like to do your own thing and when somebody is in your space you make it known. It's not often you give people hugs and smiles but once you warm up you are such a loving and cuddly little princess. You don't need me as much as you use to. You go off and play without me by your side and that is something I've had to get use to. You always come back to make sure I am there which still warms my heart. You have been attached to my hip since the day you were born and it's bittersweet that you have now found your wings. Leilah, it makes me sad how fast you are growing up. You have such a BIG personality I know God has something BIG in store for you.
