This is like the 4th time she has been sick this year and we are barely in February. We went to church on Sunday and this is what we have come back with..........a sick girl with 103 fever. Kids with germs and boogers are everywhere. Church or not if there are kids anywhere around, there are germs and boogers. My Leilah got the germs and boogers. She gets sick very easily. I think mainly because she has never went to daycare. She has been attached to my hip since birth. So whenever she is around kids with any type of germ she is sure to get sick days or even hours later. We had a really rough night. She was so out f it and she was even talking about how Santa Claus was in the dinning room Definitely loopy and hallucinating. So sad, especially because she hates Santa Claus but last night she was so excited that he was supposedly in our dining area. That's how you know she must be sick. A little creepy if you ask me. Ugh. I just hope she feels better. Niah has boogers and is having a hard time sleeping. They both have 2:15 doctor appointments. Jesus put your healing hands over my girls.
I am a tired Mama lacking lots of sleep who usually types at midnight.....Please forgive my spelling and grammar :)

Moments like these
These are the moments that help me to know that I have full purpose in life. That there is no where I rather be than right here watching the relationship of these two Sisters grow. I could be at work 8 hours a day, come home super tired, and be missing out on much of these girls lives, but even though I doubt my decision to stay home at time. It's moments like this that give me answers. I won't be a stay at home Mom forever, but I am one now and I have to soak in all these moments. Two little girls giggling and laughing. Two sisters that in no time will be grown up and mother's themselves.
Thank You God for my opportunity to stay home and indulge in these moments like these even if it's brief. I am thankful.

Our Reader
If you are ever looking for Leilah you might find her in this spot........
Leilah loves books.
She has always been the one to sit for long periods of time flipping through books.
Syniah doesn't have that kind of patience.
She comprehends exactly what is going in the book just by looking at the pictures.
She has always had a love for books, but now she is becoming quite the little reader.
She was so concerned reading her toddler bible because people were crying. The story she was reading was Jesus dying on the cross. Ugh.......How to explain that to a 2 year old?! I did my best.
She stayed on that page for a really long time. She was so concerned. "Mama, they cry."
I don't know if she will always love books. She is two years old and has had this love for books since she was born. Maybe she takes after her Nana because Nana always has a book that she is reading and has quite the collection. For now I love watching her sit on her beanbag with her head in a book and if I need to find her I always know where to look. :)
